2CG Compliance, Risk, and Governance

This specialization reflects the demand by business practitioners for specialists skilled in compliance & ethics, risk management and sustainability and growing pressures stemming from national and international business environment.

No successful corporation can operate without a robust governance, risk and compliance framework ensuring compliance with key legal and regulatory requirements, ethical principles, and various customs. It also requires forward looking business continuity and crisis readiness. It has become a norm that investors observe sustainability performance prior to joining their capital with a business endeavour.

Target Group

Any Master programmes and Erasmus+ Exchange students with an ambition to master leadership in compliance, risk management, corporate governance, business continuity & crisis readiness and sustainability can apply.

Lecturers

Lucie Andreisová

Lucie Andreisová

Lucie is a dedicated compliance and risk management professional with a robust academic foundation and extensive hands-on experience across diverse industries. From 2011 to 2024, she led the development and implementation of compliance and risk frameworks in telecommunications, banking, and retail sectors—not only in the Czech Republic but also in the UK and across Central Europe (Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland).

Between 2021 and 2024, Lucie served as the Chair of the Ethics Committee at the Prague University of Economics and Business. Currently, she combines her passion for education and consultancy, teaching at the Prague University of Economics and Business while advising organizations on compliance and risk strategies. Lucie is also an active member of the Compliance Academy and the International Compliance Association (ICA), contributing to the advancement of the field.

Jan Klouda

Jan Klouda

Jan is a Member of the Board of Directors in charge of Legal, Corporate Security, Business Integrity & Resilience at Tesco Stores CE. Jan is also Board Member at the Association of Critical Infrastructure of the Czech Republic, holds Post-Graduate Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the UK International Compliance Association (ICA), and Certified Fraud Examiner certification from the US Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Daniel Houska

Daniel Houska

Daniel is a head of the sustainable finance unit at the Ministry of Finance and until 2025 served as the only Czech permanent advisor to the European Commission in the Platform on Sustainable Finance (serving as an circular economy environmental objective lead, among other roles). He is an arbitrator for commercial disputes at the Arbitration Court attached to the Czech Chambers of Commerce and Agriculture and an expert at the Czech Chamber of Commerce (environmental and legal expert groups). He teaches at the Prague University of Economics and Business and at the Czech Chamber of Auditors.
