The Third Edition of the Professional Diploma in Corporate Compliance Successfully Completed

This week, the Faculty of International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business successfully concluded the third edition of the Professional Diploma in Corporate Compliance, an English-language executive programme delivered as part of the Executive Academy of the Faculty of International Relations under the academic leadership of Dr. Lucie Andreisová from the Department of Business and European Law.

We are delighted that this year’s programme attracted 18 participants from a wide range of organizations and industries. The diversity of professional backgrounds, openness to sharing practical experience, and active engagement of all participants created an exceptionally inspiring and collaborative learning environment throughout the programme.

During four intensive afternoon sessions, participants explored key topics in modern compliance and governance, including Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), compliance risk assessment, legal aspects of corporate compliance, corporate values and ethics, compliance culture, the role of compliance professionals, anti-bribery and anti-corruption compliance, competition law compliance, whistleblowing, and fraud prevention and investigation. Participants were also guided through the topics of fraud prevention and corporate criminal liability by Dr. Juraj Szabó, a new member of the Department of Business and European Law.

The programme concluded with team presentations of final assignments, which once again demonstrated the high professional standard of the participants and their ability to translate newly acquired knowledge into practical solutions applicable in everyday organizational practice.

It was a privilege to contribute to their professional development, and we look forward to meeting them again as part of the growing community of compliance professionals.
