Law in Business conference on 17 October 2025
We would like to invite you to the 16th International Scientific Conference “Law in Business of Selected Member States of the European Union”.
The conference will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, on the campus of the University of Economics and Business in Prague in person and via MS Teams.
The conference topics for 2025 are:
- Business and Commercial Law
- Insolvency Law
- Competition Law
- IP and IT Law
- Consumer Protection
- European and International Legal Aspects of Doing Business
- Banking, Finance and Insurance Law
Important dates:
- Submission of the registration and short abstract: until September 10, 2025
- Submission of the full conference paper: until September 25, 2025
- Results of the double-blind review process: until October 5, 2025
- Conference date: October 17, 2025

Participation in the conference is free of charge. However, we are not able to refund any travel or accommodation costs incurred. Conference papers will be published in a peer-reviewed conference proceedings with ISSN and ISBN. The conference volume of the last two conferences was indexed in the Web of Science database.
The conference is organized by the Department of Business and European Law, Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business, Czech Republic, the Department of International Law, Faculty of International Relations, University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, and the Department of Business Economics and Management, Faculty of Business and Business Administration, Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic.
