Odpovědí jsou dobře nastavené systémy governance, řízení rizik a compliance. Právě těmto oblastem se věnuje naše vedlejší specializace 2CG Compliance, Risk, and Governance na Fakultě mezinárodních vztahů VŠE v Praze.

Specializace propojuje právní, manažerský a etický pohled na fungování moderních organizací a připravuje studenty na role, které dnes patří mezi rychle rostoucí profesní oblasti – compliance officer, risk manager, governance specialist, internal auditor nebo třeba ESG expert.

Co se v rámci specializace naučíte? 📚

Studium kombinuje teoretické základy s praktickými zkušenostmi z lokálních i nadnárodních organizací. Studenti se v rámci specializace setkávají například s těmito kurzy:

• Compliance and Business Ethics,
• Enterprise Risk Management,
• Corporate Governance,
• Business Continuity and Crises Management,
• Sustainability Reporting.

Kurzy se věnují například fungování řídicích struktur organizací, řízení rizik, tvorbě a implementaci programů compliance, regulatorním požadavkům nebo praktickým tématům, jako jsou protikorupční opatření, soutěžní právo, whistleblowing či ochrana dat.

Výuka s lidmi z praxe 💼

Na výuce se podílejí nejen akademici, ale také odborníci z praxe. Součástí kurzů jsou také vystoupení externích hostů z firemního i regulatorního prostředí.

Spolupráce s Českou bankovní asociací 🤝

Vedlejší specializace dlouhodobě spolupracuje s Českou bankovní asociací.

Díky této spolupráci mají každý rok dva až tři studenti této specializace možnost zúčastnit se prestižního manažerského vzdělávacího programu Corporate Governance, který Česká bankovní asociace pořádá pro manažery a seniorní odborníky nejen z bankovního sektoru.

Program probíhá formou šesti modulů během celého roku a představuje velmi kvalitní odborné vzdělávání v oblasti řízení organizací, role představenstev a dozorčích orgánů či odpovědného vedení institucí.

Pro studenty naší vedlejší specializace je účast v tomto programu zcela zdarma, což představuje mimořádnou příležitost získat zkušenost s manažerským vzděláváním na vysoké úrovni a setkat se s profesionály z oboru.

Minor Specialisation 2CG: Compliance, Risk, and Governance 🎓

A unique programme combining governance, risk management and compliance – complemented by topics such as business continuity management and ESG reporting, which increasingly shape how modern organisations operate.

How do organisations today navigate a complex world of regulation, technological change and growing ethical expectations?

The answer lies in well-designed systems of governance, risk management and compliance. These areas are at the core of our minor specialisation 2CG Compliance, Risk, and Governance at the Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business.

The programme combines legal, managerial and ethical perspectives on how modern organisations function and prepares students for roles that belong among today’s fast-growing professional fields – such as compliance officer, risk manager, governance specialist, internal auditor or ESG expert.

What will you learn in this specialisation? 📚

The programme combines theoretical foundations with practical insights from both local and multinational organisations.

Students encounter courses such as:

• Compliance and Business Ethics,
• Enterprise Risk Management,
• Corporate Governance,
• Business Continuity and Crises Management,
• Sustainability Reporting.

The courses explore topics such as governance structures, risk management, the design and implementation of compliance programmes, regulatory requirements and practical areas including anti-corruption measures, competition law compliance, whistleblowing and data protection.

Teaching with practitioners 💼

Courses are delivered not only by academics but also by experienced practitioners. The programme regularly features guest speakers from corporate and regulatory environments.

Cooperation with the Czech Banking Association 🤝

The specialisation maintains a long-term cooperation with the Czech Banking Association.

Thanks to this partnership, two to three students from the specialisation have the opportunity each year to participate in the prestigious Corporate Governance executive education programme organised by the Czech Banking Association for managers and senior professionals not only from the banking sector.

The programme consists of six modules delivered throughout the year and provides high-quality professional education in areas such as corporate governance, the role of boards and supervisory bodies and responsible leadership in organisations.

For students of our minor specialisation, participation in this programme is completely free of charge, representing a unique opportunity to gain experience with executive-level education and to meet professionals from the field.
